What is Telehealth?

 Telehealth is the use of safe and secure video conferencing software that connects you with your therapists from your own home.

How does it work?

You are able to book a telehealth appointment via our online booking system or by calling our friendly team.

   You will need to have a computer or device (eg smartphone/tablet) with a camera, microphone and internet.

 Your therapist will contact you on your device via email using the Physitrak platform. You will be asked to download the free app and the consultation can begin!

 Telehealth consultations are just like a normal appointment. Your therapist will review your condition, answer your questions and provide advice for ongoing management.

As part of the Physitrak app we can provide you with a customised exercise program following your session to follow at home. This will include detailed videos and reminders on when to complete.

Our admin team will contact you following the session to arrange payment. This can be done over the phone or via direct debit. A receipt will then be emailed to you.

Am I suitable for telehealth?

Some people will require in-room treatment - particularly post operative reviews where wound care is involved, or sessions where splints are made or modified. However most follow up is suitable for Telehealth.
