Sally Jessop

Sally is a Senior Practitioner of Hand Therapy (BOT) and director of Eastern Hand Rehab. She has over 10 years experience working as a hand therapy specialist.

Since graduating in 2007 Sally began her career at the Alfred and Royal Melbourne Hospitals before moving into private practice. She has been a guest lecturer at Monash University and  is an associate member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association. 

Sally has a keen interest in sports and trauma and has worked with football clubs in the VAFA and EFL. She enjoys working with her clients to get them back doing what they love!


Nikki Shortill

Nikki is a Senior Occupational Therapist, Practitioner of Hand Therapy BSC(OT). She has over 20 years experience working as a hand therapy specialist.

Nikki graduated in 1997 Nikki beginning her career at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth Western Australia. She has gone on to develop her specialist hand therapy skills working overseas in the UK and in private practice in Perth and Melbourne. She is passionate about splinting and has taught in this area at Curtin University of Technology, Edith Cowan University and through the Occupational Therapy Association.

Nikki shares her time between Eastern Hand Therapy and Eastern Health. She has an interest in acute injuries and post surgical rehabilitation of the hand and wrist. With 2 sports mad children, she has an interest in treating sports injuries and loves seeing her patients return to the court or field.


Jacqueline Lee

Jacqueline is a Senior Hand Therapist (BOT) who graduated from Curtin University of Technology in 2000. She went on to specialise in hand therapy working in both Melbourne and Singapore. 

Throughout her travels she gained experience in upper extremity rehabilitation, attending to patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. Jacqueline has a special interest in treating hand and wrist fractures and post surgical rehabilitation. She enjoys working with people from various cultural backgrounds and is also able to converse in Mandarin and Cantonese.  


Nakita Lastrina

Nakita is the Practice Manager at Eastern Plastic Surgery. Since joining in 2014 Nakita has developed a highly professional and efficient administrative team with Rose and Wendy. 

Nakita has over 15 years experience in the medical industry and is continuously working hard with our team to enhance the business efficiencies and success.
